i'm putting 400ex a-arms on my 300 and i need to know if if you have to buy the 400 shocks or if the 300 will still work? if anyone has done it could ya help me out here. or if you jes know... also if ya got any 400 a-arms jes lying around give me a nice cheap price on em! thanks guys

..if the 400ex shock's are the same length as the 250r front shock's, then you will have to make a new TOP shock mount.
the 250r shocks are longer than the 300ex. if you bolt em' right up then you will have a monster on your hands
(ground clearance). you just need to weld on a new shock mount that's a little higher than whats on it now. you could prolly rig somehting up so that the new mounts will bolt in place of the olds', but e higher (see what i'm sayin) i'm not sure if this will wirk though, i might put the shocks' at a differant angle.
i believe you can use your stock 300ex brakeline's with them too.

i havn't done this mod, but have thought about it. this is what i've been told about it.

the stock 300ex shock will work with 400ex a arms it should be perfect other than the fact that stock 300ex shocks suck.
If you decide to use new shocks either 400ex or 250 r shocks you are going to have to buy a lowering kit. Countypark makes a vaery nice loweering kit you could buy.
