okay i have a 05 400ex. i added a k&n, hmf pipe, outerwears and jetted it. can anyone tell me around how much horsepower im pushin out now?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but, stock is a little under 27 give or take. With the mods you mentioned maybe 28 - 29 tops.

ya 7-15 is a bit steep. i would probably look more like 3-7 if in a perfect world

If you really think about it, its not really how much horsepower it has its more like the overall feel of the engine. It will rev faster pull harder and just be opened up more.

you now have approximately 30.48723892746 horsepower, j/k a stock 400 has 27-28 hp so i think your probably now around 30-31

you could have lost power if your jetting wasnt set up correctly.many peopleassume becausethey bolt on some goodies there will be big gains.not always true.the internal combustion engine is a collaberation of parts that work in unison to compliment one another.for example putting a bigger carb on doesnt mean your motor will run better,especially if the motor isnt calling for more fuel.sorry for ramblin but you get the idea:D

hey, i got the same bike ,and i'm going to be doing the same mods. what jetting did you end up doing ? what jet kit did you use?oh and did u get the full exhaust?

if your talkin to me.. i used a dyno jet kit.. 158 main 42 pilot. and its not a fulll just a slip on.. i need to get the header still.
