I was considering keeping my stock arms since I ride in tight woods but using a relocator bracket for stock 400EX front shocks so I won't bottom out the front end as much, and I was wondering if anyone is running a setup like that.

When I did a search, all I came up with was people griping about converting to 400EX arms, and I dont want to do that, I just want to do the relocater bracket on stock arms and 400ex stock front shocks, and I was wondering if it was a worthwile venture...

Thanks...

They will fit but they won't be valved/sprung to work as well as they should. The bumpstops may not be right and allow the a arms to reach the end of their travel before the shocks bottom out. This is a great mod if you have aftermarket 400ex length shocks built for the setup though.

if the 400exs shocks will work why not go a step up and get 450r shocks. because then if they're way off you can get the resprung and valved for your bike and weight. Derisi does them for the 400ex not quite sure and the 300, call him.
