Gasket

I ordered this tusk top end gasket kit from rockymountainatv, so i can replace the head gasket when i install my hotcam. Ive heard that some gaskets are too thick or thin and mess up your compression, does anyone know if this gasket is too thick or thin, or if its that big of a deal? And what other gaskets should i replace while im puttin in my cam?

If your just replacing the cam, its not necessary to get a new gasket. The valve cover gasket your replacing is a steel one, its not gonna be the head gasket.
