i just got a 03 kfx 400 doesnt look like paddles will fit with heel guards on did other ppl have this problem and how did you fix it im might just take them off havent got paddles mounted yet so dont know?

well unless your from the bronx and your thinking of throwin dubs (20's) on your bike ten paddles will be fine if they are the stock wheel size for any quad.

I let a buddy borrow my paddles off the 400ex to see if he would like the taller tires on his Z400. He had the same problem, the paddles rubbed the heel guards when he hit bumps. He just bent the heel guards forward a bit to keep it from happening and rode most the rest of the day without a problem.

The paddles he tried were a set of 22x11x8 6 paddle Superlite Hauler

well i run 20x10's and there flawless.

04raptor didn't say what size paddles he purchased or what size rims they were going on. I get that you didn't have a problem with 20x10x?? but my buddy did when he borrowed mine and I offered a solution on how he fixed it.

You said your buddy ran 22's and had a problem well i have a z400 and run 20's with no problems that's why i said it......:rolleyes:

i fixed it i just cut them off i didnt really like those big *** heel guards anyway im running 20-11-10's gbc sand sharks
