Brakes feel weak

Ok, as most of you know, when you ride hard, the brakes seem to get used pretty roughly. How do i go about stopping "brake fading"?! The pads still seem to have alot of life on them, but when i really need them, they just seem weak. Do stainless brake lines help this? Why would brakes just seem to stop stopping?

Are your brakes blead really well?
If so and thats not enough stopin power that yes stainless lines will help you from wha iv learned they help take some of the spngyness out of the brake

Also, brake fluid breaks down over time, just like oil does. It might be time for some fresh DOT4.

I just installed stainless brake lines. The difference is nothing short of amazing.

I have the same problem. I flushed the system with new fluid and am installing steel braided lines. The stock lines "swell" under extreme use.
