chain problems

i have a 97 yamaha warrior and it seems like every time i give it gas my chain makes a loud tick noise.what is wrong with it

its probobly to loose or you need a new one

It could be a number of things it could be your chain stabillizers or roller, your tensioners, or your axel could be out of alignment. or its too loose and its hitting your stock (or aftermarket) swingarm skid plate.
