Nice 1986 TRX250R. Any cracks in the frame since its has been raced?

no it was a practice bike only,i checked it out,some rust but no cracks that i have seen so far

It looks like it has a spacer plate under the cylinder. It has been apart.

I bought this one to part out to finish my YFZ,after this im going to build one,i love the big *** pipe is has!!!


and thats not a spacer plate,thats the bottom end

It's not the pipe that makes you want to build one, it's the POWER, something your 4 smokes are lacking in.:eek2:

holy chit i swear to god im im thinking about calling it quits on the YFZ,but i can't i have to much invested in it,when i move,i will spend some time building a nice 250r :macho

If i go over what i spent on this and still have the motor im going to keep it and build it up a lil bit maybe to a 265 and get a new sidecase,kinda threw a chain :grr:

and then build one of the meanest 265R's to hit EXR:eek:

this isnt a project quad,this quad i bought to part out to make money for my YFZ project,which i started late summer

The yfz is going to be a full walsh/pep Mxer

going to use everything walsh makes on it
Peps all around
Hipers
RPM
TC
Duncan,etc,etc

hey i just wannasay the dude before who said youe had a spacer plate motor is right, it has a spacer plate, so it has been apart before. that motor is running a long rod crank with a 86 piston. that left side case is NASTY, but hey if your parting it out, I'd like to know what kind of front end and how much, also how much for the mtoor, pm me.
