just checking the simple stuff...

did you fill and charge the battery or did the place you bought it from?

what is the battery voltage?

is there any clicking noise at the relay when you hit teh starter button?

have you checked all wireing and made sure it is correctly fastened?

have you checked the fuse near the relay to be sure you did not blow it when you connected your battery?

I've actually got the problem with the clicking sound at the relay right now. Any advice???

it said that it comes fully charged so no i didnt charge it.

not sure on how much voltage. i need to get one of those things to check for amount of voltage, i believe its called a multi meter or a voltage meter. i should know because i work around electricians all the time.

there was a clicking sound at the relay when i first had this problem but not anymore because i think im losing charge. when i clamp one end of a jumper cable to the power and the other end to the ground it doesnt spark, when it did before.

i tryed checking all the wiring but didnt seem to see any apparent problems.

i checked the two 15 amp fuses that are located near the relay and they are fine.

thanks for taking the time to help me out man i appreciate it.

turn the lights on and try to start it. If the light dim when you try to start it then battery needs charging.

i dont have lights on it anymore. the kid before used a dirt-bike kill as a starter and it has a tether hooked up now.

jump it with another quad, or borrow an multimeter. but, it definately sounds like it needs to be charged. if you do not have enough current/voltage then the starter solenoid (thing that clicks) cannot energize. start troubleshooting with the easiest thing, charge your battery/ jump your quad. if it doesnt work, we can go from there

i actually took care of it over the weekend. it ended up being that i was losing charge due to the fact that the connections to my battery were dirty. still not really sure why it cut out while i was riding but i took care of it so im happy. so i charged my battery up fully and cleaned my connections and we were good to go. i was glad i didnt have to make any other fixes.

thanks for the input man but i already took care of my problem. i had bad connections between my battery posts and my cables. i brushed em up real nice and charged the battery up and it was good to go.
