i have seen a 350x rear end on a 300ex but i dont know how much work will be involved to put it on. I know that the swing arm bolts right up but im not sure about the shock.

i belive the swinger bolts right up but i think you use your 300ex shock but im not sure so yea it shouldnt be that hard you got to make sure your chain is long enough cause the 350x swinger is about 1.25" longer

you would have to use the 350x shock cause th mounting on the swingarm is different than the 300ex.

So you wouldn't be able to use the 01 raptor rear shock with the 350x rear end?

Just check the length needed.. I'm sure there's probably a rebuildable rear shock that's a very close length that's not a linkage style (of course if you get it rebuilt anyway..).

you can use a raptor shock on a 350x swinger. I did . you need to fab up your own bracket. You also need to make sure the mounting location is the same as the 300ex swinger. the trick is to be able to remove the shock rather easy. I could provive pick but would want anyone stealing my Ideas. the 350x shock give it a harsh ride. the axle is also longer and uses the same 250r spline hubs.

email me if you want more info on my setup

I buddy put a 350x axle on his 250x.I do beleive he used his stock carrier. The only difference was that he had to use 350x rear sprocket because the sprocket hub bolt pattern was different.
