how can I tell if it is for a 86' ? I just got one that came with a motor I bought. it was on a shifter cart at one time and I'm not sure how the porting is (I assume mid range) but a friend ran it part of last season and it seemed to run real strong on the mx track it looks like 68mm and possably honeable but has 2 bores left.

the 85-86's have case reeds and no powervalve.
