I just finished up the new grille for my Maier 250R hood. I didn't get it perfect, but I like the way it looks. I'm prolly gonna work on a way to get the holes spaced a little more evenly. Anyways, here's a couple quick pics.

I had one that was similar, but it was charcoal gray. I had made it from some plastic honeycomb speaker grille. Didn't look too bad, but I wanted something different. I'm making these from scrap plastic left over from people triimming there fenders for one of these hoods, or I use plastic number plates. I have a template to make them from, but I'm gonna be working on a little better one pretty soon. I also wanna try and make one from sheet aluminum.

Anyways, these generally only take me about a half hour, maybe a little longer, to make. And like I've said before, If someone wanted one for their hood, I could easily make one.

You did make it from extra plastics right? Well if you did how did you make the scoop in it?

I didn't make the hood... I made the small, white, honeycombed grill that's set inside the scoop. Notice it in the pics?
