I heard that the 3.8 Mustang and Thunderbird motors are pretty much identical. Can I take the supercharger off of the Thunderbird and put it on my Mustang? Or won't this work?

I would say most likely it will not bolt right up. They usually have different intake manifolds with a supercharged motor compared to a non. Plus you would probably have to change the injectors to let more fuel in with all of that new air comin in there. In other words I am basically saying no it wont bolt up without a lot of modification to your non supercharged motor.

I saw one setup for sale on ebay that said you can use it for a power upgrade on your Thunderbird or Mustangs etc.. Who knows. What you're saying does make sense. Thanks for the info.
