custom scoops

has anyone made their own scoops for a 400ex? what size of metal? do you have plans or pictures? thanks

i have replied to alot of threads about this but i guess one more wont hurt, go to home depot and get some zinc sheet metal, or if you can find aluminum some where else but home depots sheets of aluminum just arent big enough, and dont get steel because it will rust. okay after you have your zinc or aluminum sheets take off all of your plastics and use some cerial box cardbord to make a template, you definetly want to make sure you include your monting points with your template ;) then trace it out onto your sheet metal and cut it out, but be sure to drill your monting holes before you bend them because its much easier to drill a flat peice of metal. hope i helped a little btw these pics were of a 300ex but you get the idea

i have one more pic but remember this a 300ex, just look for any fender monts that you could use or anything else near where the scoops will be
