I am going to race my first XC race this weekend!
Should i take off my tail/brake light off or leave it on.

i would keep it on, i wouldnt want anyone to run into me during your first race. besides, you may drop a pound, is it really worth it?

so what should I do?

I am a very experienced woods rider I have been doing it for like 20 years and the last 7 years on race quads. just never in a race.

i dont have an brake light, but that is me, plus i removed the brake sensor for the rear brake as well.

leave it on. hrmm my quads tail light comes on when i put on headlights n thats it it dosnt get brighter or dimmer when i speed up or slow down..but yea leave it on

when i got my 400, the previous owner had taken the tail light off, so i dont have one.......and i dont miss it.

i think the 400ex's had tail lights up to like, '05, and then it was a brake light. Tail lights seem pointless to me tho
