Yeah the Texas race is like (I guess I should say was like) 30 miles from my house. But the rider count seemed low to me this year. Heck they sell more ATVs here every year then everywhere but CA. I guess they are all mudders.

We also lost the WORCS race too...

RP normally gives out the offical schedule at the banquet, so maybe we'll know the other locations then. sorry to see power line park not on there.

mostlikely they lost privilages to the land for the TX ride, but it had the lowest turnout of the GNCC's and was to far out of the way anyway

I don't think thats it, I live pretty close and truthfully I would be shocked to find out that they make any more money off another event.

I think it was the second part, the turnout this season was quite a bit lower than last.

what do you mean no! if you can do good at rausch creek you can do good anywhere . We did the dist #6 harescramble on the same track as the 6 hour race this year and it is definitly the best track we had all year .

10-25-2005, 09:18 AM

Same area, but not the same exact track. They made it rougher and tighter for the harescramble than they did for the 6hr.

Besides the Rausch GNCC wasn't at Rausch Creek mx Park it was at Tower City.

ya I know I did the gncc, the six hour, and the harescramble and loved everyone of them

I know where your thinking Mike but do you think they could squeze close to 10 -11 miles of track outta there , I`m sure he would have plenty of parking with surronding feilds if crop`s wernt in It would just me nice to have one in Mo. :blah:

None of them have enough room to hold a Gncc. Some barley have enough room for the mid south itself. About the only place that has enough room is Maplesville. They have tons of room and not a bas track. In fact it seems just like a gncc to me, wide open, and long.

Gamaliel has plenty of room...and it's a great place to camp.

kyex40047
10-28-2005, 11:07 PM
Gamaliel might work if they cut the grass down a little bit. But also its kind of far off the interstate and any main road. I love that track, and would love to see a national there or atleast go to it in the winter. About the only othere place that would work would be salem and thats really far off the intersate, but there would be plenty of parking if they cut that corn down.

Are you guys thinking Kahoka?

I raced at a place this year near Salem, MO- at the Flat Nasty Off Road Park. The Race that Matt Ryberg put on. That would be an awesome place for a GNCC. It was 9 miles of the most technical track I have ever seen. The land owner said he has plenty of room to make that loop longer too.

My vote would be Kahoka if it were possible though!

Maplesville is a joke....theres only like 2 miles of woods, everything else is woops and gulleys thru fields.

Are you talking about this place? Click here. (www.flatnasty.net) I haven't been there yet, but it looks like a good place to ride.

Flat Nasty is in Salem. I raced there earlier in the year. It is definitely GNCC material.

Maybe you should quote the text next time. Your comment wasn't very clear and it sure looked like you were referring to my post.
