For those with twist throtles

What are all of you guys with twist throttle using. I am building our BAJA 1000 race bike and will be going with a twist. What are you guys using?

I use the stock CRF throttle with a FCR carb. With the stock carb we use Motion Pro Vortex.

Motion Pro Vortex, make sure you don't get a kit with the cheesy cr style throttle, I snapped it when changing handle bars. The Vortex is nice, it's the only one I've seen that has a brass bushing for the pivot wheel inside the throttle, I think it's only a quarter turn though so hold on!

Yeah, that is what I am worried about, it might be a little to aggressive.

yea deff hold on.. im using the motion pro vortex.. so far i like it alot.. its difficult to get use to but its well worth it... I ocer grip alot on the throttle cuz if not it hurts my wrist..

You just have to get used to the twister, I definitely prefer the quarter turn.

ive ALWAYS rode with a thumb throttle until i bought my new suspension. Cuz ever since then my thumb has been getting REALLLY sore. So i switched over to the Vortex and i LOVE IT. its not too bad to get use to either. We had a cr-style on my dads yfz but it was pretty ****ty. So i deffinetly think that either the vortex...or a cannondale twist is the best.

Well, VORTEX it will be. Does the vortex come with its own cable or do use the stock cable.

it comes with a new cable.. its real easy to hook every thing up..
