dang that sucker looks steep. it looks a lot steeper than any of the comp hills down at glamis (glamis, gordons well, buttercup) and possibly even more than china wall.

OH MY GOD!!!! I am moving to Oregon!!! Choke is steep the first time I went down it I was pretty much laying back on my quad and I was too afraid to turn or stop so I ended up in the bushes off to the right :rolleyes:

There are a few spots at my local sandbox that are really steep. Some spots I've never seen anybody go. I'll admit, they scare me, I'm not willing to scale them.

I rode DOWN the right side of choke(if your facing the face of the hill) and I dunno why but THAT skerd the chit out of me to come down ,yet I came down Devils dune with NP :huh

BTW.. Did anyone get the latest Atvsport yet?? HOLY CRAP... There is a Hillclimb in there that was INSANE!!I have NEVER seen a hil lthat BIG! It was like 1600 feet up??!!!!! :eek:

No racin, just a sand guy. Let me/us know when you'll be heading to St. A, we have a group of about 4 or 5 that try to go every other weekend. I realize June a way off but I'd like to get a big group together this summer and tear it up!

oh and z... you head south till you come around the 1st know treeling thingy then you head east till you take a left into an opening about a mile or so later.... then you just head north about 1/3 of a mile till you get to it. not my best directions but you know what I mean... lol It's called the lookout, banshee hill 2, etc... lots of names for it.

The only problem I have is I just don't have the time off to go over there. I love to hunt In Idaho also so I take two weeks off every year to do that. And one more week to go to Coos Bay. I just don't have enought time off of work:mad:

I love the 450rs! I like playing around on them and there a blast to jump but power wise my 89R is better and a LOT faster then both my 450r's. One thing though my 89 is FAR from a stock 89 250r.

I love the 450rs! I like playing around on them and there a blast to jump but power wise my 89R is better and a LOT faster then both my 450r's. One thing though my 89 is FAR from a stock 89 250r.

yea i woulda imagine im from alberta and there isnt to many 250r around so i dont really know much about them but they sure do scream up those hills in your video...:D

I always wondered if smaller bore quads like 300ex's can make it up them big sand hills like sand mt? i've rode at a few places with sand but nothin like lil sahara, or other places. i dont' want to take a trip somewhere like that and not have any fun.

A 300ex won't make it up dunes like Sand Mtn.. Sand Mtn isn't your typical dune though.. They will go pretty good in the big bowls as momentum is the key and having a good paddle tire w/o over paddling it.. A 6 paddle glider is all a 300ex needs. Any more is toooo much paddle. A good rider helps things out also..

I'm pretty sure you can. back in the day when i rode a bayou 220 i would ride it at lil sahara all the time but "ugottabayou" still rides his bayou down there for the fun of it and he rides with nearly bald tires and no paddles.
