I would rather do it right than half *****!!! Spray painting doesn't seem to be a good idea!!!

You mine as well save up some more to get a good powdercoat job which will look way better and last 100x longer

....what color are you talkin about painting it?
if like a white or yellow, or a bright color like that i would powdercoat it. if your just ganna hit it with black or a gray color then i'd say spray paints cool. i painted mine a gray close to the stock color and where's it's chippped i can't really tell. you can tell but if you back away from it, it kinda blends in.
it's been painted for about 6 month's now..with some pretty good ride's on it..only place's i have to touch it up is, a-arms' (front side) bottom of swingarm.(pretty much the entire botom of bike)
and where my feet rub on the frame...when it's tme to redo it. lift it on it's grab bar, tape it off..spray it down.....
quick dry too....

I am going to paint it orange and black.I am going to do my frame black and do my sub frame orange.It will look cool.:cool:
