Does anyone know the proper procedure for changing out a cylinder in a 400. I have the stock cylinder and I am replacing it with a 440 cylinder. I have been told that there is a way to heat up the cylinder and push out the old bore and replace the new one cold. I am not real sure on that and need to know if any of yous have done this. Thanks ahead of time. Mo:D

i would take it to a motor shop, that way its done right and if you screw up youhave to pay but if they screw up you dont have to pay, also it was only about $75 when i had my scrambler bored and slightly ported so it shouldent be too expensive considdering the labor involved.
