Hey guys i'm looking to buy my first quad. I do have riding (dirtbikes, and friends quads, blasters, yfz450s ect) experience. I am very partial to 2 strokes, and i dont have a lot of money to be throwing around.
I have found a '99 banshee, "FMF fatty pipes, powercore silencers, durablue axle, wave brake rotors, billet calipers, pro twist grip, white bros boost bottle, pro taper bars, K+N filter, Fast trekker low pro tires, DG nerf bars, moto tassinary reeds and a ton more I cant even lits it would take all day. The motor was custom built by SPS racing of San Diego CA last season. Its bored .30 over. It has custom weisco pistons, hot rods, bored carbs, jet kits and much more" $1400 dollars. Catch is it has to go by sunday.
I have a 1994 cr 250, with a large amount of performace parts, suspension ect. That i am trying to sell this week for 1200. Would that banshee be good for a first quad, bearing in mind i do have a decent amount of riding experience? If not can anyone else reccomend i good first quad that can be purchased for relatively cheap? (lt 250r, older banshees maybe?) thanks guys!
