clean the air filter, check the spark plug. My old quad did the same thing.

Maybe check you gas tank breather tube, see if it's clogged. Or perhaps there's something floating around in your float bowl getting sucked into the main jet?

However, if it only happens when you pull in the clutch, these likely aren't your problems.

what size a pilot you got in it ??? Mine would do that every time I would go to slow down or stop, I changed my pilot and no more problems.

I really don't think that it will (but it won't hurt either).

Here is an article on changing your pilot jet.

I dont think it would be the bowl because that wouldnt happen JUST when he pulls in the clutch. a fouled spark plug can and will fail when you let off the gas/take the load off the engine. How does it start up? how many seconds before it normally kicks over? its got to be either poor fuel delivery or bad spark.

my blaster used to do this alot, i just started to pull the clutch in more slowly, and then rev it while it was pulled in.

another reason why it may be doing this is that too much gas is going into the motor, and when the clutch gets pulled, the idle is too low for how much gas is going into the motor, so it cuts out. that's what happened with me
