Hi.

Ive read alot about folks putting 400ex a arms on a 300ex. Question is, are 400ex tie rods the correct length?

Im holding up a 300ex a arm and a 400ex a arm. Im only seeing that the 400ex a arm is about 3/4" longer. I guess the advantage to the 400ex a arm is lower shock mount being farther out from center?

Just wanna know...

Thanks!!! :)

you might wanna search on this first but they say that the 400ex geometry of the aarms do not match with the 300's and that it does not work correctly...im sure there are others on here that have a better answer than me

apparently its not a 400 arm if its only 3/4 longer
cause i have a set on my wifes ex and its about 2" longer!!

and i'm using 450R shocks!!!

works great for the track but a little stiff for trail.
with the adjustible shock relocator you can use just about
anything. i was gonna use yfz's but you have to grind on the shock and i didn't want to do that!

those are not 400 arms!
its way to narrow
it would be 4" wider if they were
the 400 arms make a huge difference
that looks stock

So you guys just use the 400ex tie rods and ends and just flip one end over to that they mount like the 300ex rods?
