Jeep Liberty lift kits? [Archive]

I just picked up a 03 liberty tonight, its the sport model so it has the poor man wheels and tires it looks so lame I cant even sum it up in words.

Anyone know where I can get wheels/tires and a lift kit for a decent price?

I'll get pictures of the heep tomorrow its actually nice the v6 kinda surprised me :chinese:

they are actually pretty nice little cars. the v6 is peppy. my moms got one, and i just put 245/75 toyo open country a/t's on it and it looks really nice. more of the bigger tire with stock height sleeper badass look.

prepare to be dissapointed with gas mileage. for such a small car it only gets about 230miles to it's 14gallon tank. (~16mpg)

are the liberty's a unibody like the cherokee? a buddy of mine got a lift for his cherokee and it was not cheep. looks pretty sweet tho.

ahh yeah gas mileage will suck with any car nowadays it seems.

this one has the gray bumpers and such I plan on painting them to match the car since I can do it for free working in autobody rules..

do you have any pictures of your moms with the tires and such?

my mom has a black sport with the gray flairs and alloy wheels. its a pretty fun little car. when she first traded our expedition in for it i laughed at her but now i see it was a good choice. even though the gas milage isnt great its like the sun and moon compared to our expedition.

yeah i actually like libertys. i think they have good potential. i don't see why people just laugh at them. i mean for the price, you really can't beat them.

Every one think rubicon express is the best but rusty's is getting better flex out of thier kits than rubicon express is and a 2 inch strut spacer kit will only run you $160.

That is a deal. The guys at Rusty's are great and they wheel their jeeps, they don't just crawl the malls with them!

so far all I've found is a 2.5 lift kit which allows you to run 31 inch tires.

Libertys are fun as hell to drive lol that and common its a jeep I know the name Liberty is lame and it makes them look like a pos. Out of all the jeeps we've had this one handles like a dream we had 3 wranglers they are death traps if you ask me, I do wish it was a cherokee but what can you do.

That and No one around here has a liberty thats lifted soo I love being differnt, everyone else has huge chevys and wranglers and such.

Heres the heep lol I'm painting all the gray trim to match the jeep but I might consider this sick gun metal color I found, then some micky t wheels and tires 2.5 lift

the 2.5 kits are the only real option for those heeps right now I believe.

I would recommend using a replacement adjustable coilover vs. the spacer kit as the spacer will cause it to ride rough.

The coilovers cost more but it does not look like you have a problem with that:eek2:
