i wanted to paint my a-arms rather than p.c. them. so could tuch them up. what do you think.

I think that is a good idea just get you what ever color of pj1 frame paint you want and some clear coat and it will be looking good

i painted my arms about 5 months ago and thye are holding up great besure to sand them REALLY good and et all the paint off then use a good primer (nice even sorta thin coat), then i used 3 coats of krylon gloss black (nice even thin coats is the key) then i used 3 coats of clear

do it right and it should hold up good

i jest got engine heat paint from fleat farm that was ford red and sprade that on and then sprayed clear paint on it to help stop chiping. and it holds up good but will have to tuch it up sometimes.

You can get the PJ1 frame paint from rocky mountain ATV, or check with your local dealer, if they don't cary it, they can order you some.

nice, i think im gonna wait until they look like crap and then repaint them. no point on wasting the paint job i paid for. thanks for the help.

i got a can of that paint from fleet farm works great did my exhaust heat shield.

I would powder coat the rather that paint them because paint on the lower a-arms will wear really quick where weeds smack them. powdercoat will take alot longer to wear than paint.
