what do you do When you "grind" the weld in the exhaust

what is grinding the welds i should know this b/c there was a post on it but i cant find it can someone help?

after you take your header off u will understand when u see the big circular weld. i was confused at first but when u look at it and see that u gotta get it flush its easy to under stand. i just grinded and felt it. grinded it and felt it to make sure it was flush.

thanks i saw the welds grinded them flush and polished em nice and pretty like better throttle response, thanks
