just wondering cause i really dont have that much money to spend on shocks, also wondering if 400ex shocks will fit on 450r's no problem

I would say the Works are better simply because they are triple rate.The 400ex shocks will fit the 450r but will need to be revalved to work properly.Another option you have is to get your stock 450r shocks converted to triple rate and revalved to your specific riding style.C&D Racing,a site sponser,did mine and I am very pleased.

i am assuming you are talking about the works at steelers. if so i would have to say no, just because you can not adjust the rebound and compression on the at steelers. now the higher line of works shocks you can. ex( black widow series) keep this in mind, anything is better than the 400ex stock shocks.

I have r shocks on mine and I love their adjustability. The works would be better, but the R shocks are fully adjustable. and later when you get more money you can have someone revalve them and triple rate them for your riding, like derisi. I'd say get the R shocks if you want to spend more money on them later and can get a good deal on them, but get the works if you just want to spend the cheap price once.

i already have a 450r, which means i have the stock shocks, i was trying to see if the works were better than them, not the 400's....

alright brandon i will keep this simple. stay with the stock trx450r front shocks you have on your 400ex. what 400exmo was tring to tell you is you have more adjustability with the stock trx450r shocks than you do the works triple rate. for the reply i made earlier, it does not matter which one you have on your quad now, the stock 400ex shocks are junk. you did no wrong be getting rid of them. if that is not simple enough, KEEP THE STOCK TRX450R SHOCKS AND DO NOT BUY THE WORKS SHOCKS!!!!

brandon you're making no sence. do you have a 400ex or 450r. the 400ex shocks and crappy and the r shocks are nice, better than works. get the r shocks triple rated and revalved and they will be excellent for less money that good shocks and better than works

this is the quad im talking about, not a damn 400ex

all i wanted to know is if the works shocks would be better than stockers on a 450r

Simple answer.......

Keep your 450R shocks on your 450R, and have them revalved/resprung for your weight/ability once you have the money. I would NOT go with Works over the rebuilt/resprung stockers.
