tubes in front tires

my front right is leaking air and i tried slime and fix a flat. niether worked, so i was thinking along the lines of a tube to see if that works. i called a local atv shop to see if they did tubes and they do. but the guy i talked to said that you really dont want a tube in your tire because you will feel it at high speeds. i had tubes in both my front tires on my 250 and it didnt seem to make anything handle bad.

anywho, my question is what are your guys thoughts on tubes in a front tire? yeh or neh?

Why dont you take the tire off and dunk it in a water tank and find the leak? Dirt in the bead? Torn valve stem? I see no reason you cant put a tube in it.

i heard that to, your not suppose to run a tube in a low presure tire it does something diffrent to the tire.

I ran a tube in the front tire of my old 300ex for about a year, and never had any problems with it.
