250r Spark

I have a 1986 250R with a Eddie Sanders 330 kit. It started to run bad, cleaned every thing. Found that I had no spark with plug out & just kicking it over. Put plug in and motor starts. Called Ricky Stator and oumed the stator, it's with in specs. Still starts but no spark. bought new coil, the same. CDI? I don't know help.

I'm told the pick-ups go bad on them. the stators ohmn out, but its not getting the signal to spark. also the pick-up could have rust on it too.
