hey lastnight i changed my oil like usual and when i started her up blue smoke came streaming out of the exhaust. would it be the rings. how much is changing the piston rings

my friend had the same problem and i just rebuilt his but his rings were shot price wise it depends on what you wanna do with your quad

ive heard that oil is getting into the exhaust or sumthin

idk ask ur local dealer

was it doing this before the oil change? if it does this every time you start it and it is cold, rings probably, or if you rev it up and the smoke gets worse. but if it didnt do this before, maybe you over filled it.

itll smoke blue if u over filled it or if its running too rich.

^^^ you mean if the oil/gas mix is too rich on a 2 stroke?

what kind of quad is it. if its a 2 stroke...they always have blue smoke coming out of them
