best 400 ex cam/piston

hi i was lookin to get a cam and piston but there seam to be alot of opinoins sould i get a wisco 11to1 or a je 10.5to1 and a hot cam new stg.2 with split duration not the old st2 that is now stg.3 i have rejetted o and drilled out the exhaust baffle inside. thx robert

Don't get the Weisco piston, it's based off of the XR400, not the 400ex. Get a JE piston, they're great. I have one and haven't have any problems with it.

As far as cams go, I have a Hotcam Stage II. It's a great cam, I noticed a huge improvement. I have heard though that the HRC cam is better and won't be as hard on your engine. But, I think if I could do it all over again I would get the Curtis Sparks cam.

JE piston and whit bros cam. great combo, tons of torque. on my next build, i am going with either the new stage 2 or HRC cam and another JE 11:1

Get the HRC, it makes it rev soo damn quick :devil:
