Going to race the Elsinore GP and Adelanto GP this year. 40+ class. Come on out and join us. It's funny to see the look on peoples faces when they realize the got beat by an old guy. The older I get the faster I was! LOL

I keep telling myself that age is all a state of mind. At 37 I don't think Im old yet. But there are times that I can feel it settling in on me. Like, the morning after a hard party. And the day after a really hard 40 mile ride, lol which oddly enough, now that I think about it, is usually followed by a hard party:D

I'm only 15, but I ride with a 48 year old guy who has a 450r with some motor mods done to it. He raced nationals in the +40 class a couple of times. He can kick the ***** out of me on the track anday, even when I hop on a 450r. Old guys are fast.

10-12-2005, 09:51 PM
i am 32, and when i feel like i can get around without my walker, i take my 400ex on a good fast ride...been feeling good lately ...less wheelcahir and depends and more walker bathroom time so i am thinking it might be time to upgrade to a 450r i the spring...gotta make it through winter first...if the pain in my old bones don't get me...the flu might...you know how it is on us old folks:D

some old people are pretty fast. The ones that aren't are usually great on the holeshots and even better at blocking until they get tired. I turn 20 tommorow and I'm starting to worry about getting old I only have 10 years till I hit the 30ish crowd you all are speaking of.

37 :scary:

I was at the local MX track a few weeks ago and came up on 2 450R's. We raced around the track for 5-6 laps. I pulled away to a 4-5 second lead on our last lap and then pulled off. They came over to me and we talked about thye track and our quads. We took our helmets off....they were about 15....one kid freaked and started busting up that his friend got beat by an "old dude". :grr:

I'll turn 40 mid season in ‘06 and no plans of slowing down.

I started racing Bikes when I was 16 and got my first Quad about 6 years ago and have been racing them everysence.

In fact this year I bought a KLR and may be doing a few Hare Scrables on a bike just for the heck of it.

Last year I attended over 30 Quad races, most of them MX and also ran every Scramble in the Iowa Series. I plan on doing atleast as many in '06.

I may not be the fastest one out there but I guarantee that I having the most fun as anyone else! :D
