Tell me some stories of you riding in the snow with your 250ex's and 300ex's. And also how do the 250ex's do in the snow? And how good do they compare to the 300ex in the snow? Also I have a 250ex and I'm dying for snow and I want to know how well they do.;)

Also post some pictures of you riding in the snow.

250;s r better in the sno i think its cuz of ground clearance

i got a 250ex and that thing is a beast in the snow. i love riding in the snow, i just wish it would snow more. never riden a 300ex so i wouldn't know bout how they compare, but i can tell you the 250ex is awesome. im happy with my 250ex all around.

My 300 is good untill the snow is over a foot deep. I tolck my skidplate off so it should be way better this year. That's what hurt me last year. Plus i have 20' rears. Winter riding is awsome though I like it.

i rode in the snow with my 250 and it was fun...like 2.5 or 3ft of snow trying to ride...more like pushing lol. i loved it when our road froze over and we rode on the ice with the snow on the side of the roads from the plows to stop from spinning out...it was like 4th near pinned to move a little bit then once you got goin it was great. hope i made sense!!

lol i ride my 250 in the snow all the time if you saw the snow storm on fox news im right in the middle if that right now its awesome. and the 250 is doin alright. right now i wish i had a snowmobile though.

Oh man I'm getting soo excited to ride in the snow now!

Post up some pics too of your quads in the snow!

Also I recently bought a set of my big bros barely used 22 inch maxxis 4 snow, snow tires for my 250ex so I know I'll be doing good. Right now I have 20 inch Maxxis razrs in the back. I can't wait to be able to spin out of control on the ice and going sideways. And I though it was scary going sideway on a gravel lane to swerve from a Kawasaki brute Forece 650!:blah: But I was only going like 10 MPH. I can't even begin to image going side ways for like 15 feet!!!

i want to go riding in the snow so bad with my 300ex i just got it over the summer so i never rode it in the snow it was my friends 300ex and i went riding with him and it looked awsome to ride

my old 250x wasnt the greatest in the snow it had plenty of ground clearance but the tires were horrible it would get stuck just looking at snow.....

One time, it was freezing rain outside, and i got the bright idea to go ride, and it was about 1 hour till sunset.. I was riding on a country road by my house, fifth gear pinned, sliding all over the road, cause it was a solid sheet of ice, and slid sideways off the raod, into the ditch, got up on 2 wheels, almost vertical. I turned into it, and bailed, which saved my 300 from flipping over, and i rolled about 3 times on the ground. Dumb, but i was ok, but didn't learn, and go home like I should have. Kept riding, and it got dark. Than all of a sudden i see 3 white tails jump in front of me, not more than 3 feet away. :eek2: Talk about scary, holy crap! I hit the brakes, and slid a ways, but came out fine. Frickin deer, almost hit them, and that would have been a bad deal, lol. otherwise, when its actually snow, i love pitchin it sideways in 4th or 5th, and just glancing over my shoulder, to look at the like 45 foot roost of snow. :macho Plus jumping terraces, you can come back, see where you landed, and how far you actually went.

Haha, I love my lil 250EX in the snow, man. Hooks up like crazy and flat out hauls. It's gone now though, and I'm buying a 300EX thats gonna be my project quad soon...

dude theres like a crust on the snow, awesome!! It only does that like once a year here in PA. at least where i live! that looks fun

yeah i live up north east pa and last year when we had ice storms we could float on top of the snow and now fall threw it was sweet till i did a side winder and the top layer broke of the snow and all most rolled :macho but that happens when it gets really cold or ice storms

i wish i has pixs of my sno riding....1 time we took a powerwheels jeep nd tied it 2 my quad in the sno it was actually pretty smooth untill the trail got a lil rocky
