alright so im undecieded between a kfx 400 or a 400ex i think the 400ex is more reliable but the kfx is more advanced i will start racing next year so i think the kfx might be a lil better wheeler wats ur opinion and wat are the goods and bads about both

i'd say go with the 400ex.......lots more mods available for it, so you can build it up when you start racing

if i had 2 choose again id prob go 4 the dvx

i think they are better than the ex

the dvx is the best looking of the triplet

id say go with the kfx. a 400ex is probably better for trails and much more reliable but if your main purpose will be racing i think the kfx will be the better choice

I'd go with a Suzuki z400, lots of companies make good 440 and 450 kits for them that blow Honda 440 kits out of the water and the z is liquid cooled, something that Honda should have done on the 400 a long time ago. There are plenty of companies that make aftermarket stuff for them and in this day of 450 dominance, if Digger Doug still rides one I'd say they have to be good.

I have a 400ex and i love it, its reliable as all hell. but if i was to choose between a z400 and an ex, i think the z would take it. liquid cooled and little bit more updated.

I would go with the kfx if your main purpose is for racing

in dirt wheels mag it showed a yfz pred 400ex and z against each other. they sid the 400ex is not competitve against the yfz and sid the z is competitve against the yfz. well the 400ex was all stock and had pro taper handle bars. the z had elka shocks, diff a-arms, handle bars, tires. rims, and was piped and probly had other stuff don to it. it was a 5 sec between the 400ex and z. if they had a stock z and a 400ex with all that stuff don to it the ex would of won against the z.
