alright so im undecieded between a kfx 400 or a 400ex i think the 400ex is more reliable but the kfx is more reliable i will start racing next year so i think the kfx might be a lil better wheeler wats ur opinion and wat are the goods and bads about both

i know everyone says this but get the z or kfx. they both handle about the same but power wise are different. a stock z400 has a real mushy feeling bottom end and the power doesnt come on strong until about mid rpm. the 400ex has great bottom end compared to the z400. my dad has a stock z and i have mine with a slip on and a filter and the bottom end difference is very noticable. ive herd that the kfx/z's responde better to mods but i dont know this as a fact. overall, my 400 runs great and i wouldnt want a 400ex. i am very pleased. also if your going to be racing, you might want to consider a 450.
