you can cut the stock one off and weld mounts on the frame to put a 250r or 300ex grab bar on it that is replaceable.

yes, if your do use your grab bar enough or come back hard on it ir will break or bend. i have done it before. you can reinforce it with steel or just put a replaceable one on replace it if oyou bend or break it.

Stock bar can take a pretty good beating. It will after time fold or wear through like mine did. I just welded a thicker piece on and reinforced the grab bar, works fine :)

i broke mine off on a jump and put solid steel bar inside the tubes then slipped another piece over that and put the grab bar back on the end. not only is it not going to bend any time soon but is about half an inch longer too to keep the bike from flipping back as easy

why don't you jus learn to balence mine is a little scratched up but im jus gonna buy a new sub frame when i get a job and get a 250R one cuz i do'nt like the idea of welding on my 05

hondajoe, thanks for the tip, but i think balance is the obvious objective in riding wheelies, which i do pretty well, but every distance wheelie rider lays it over now and again. i don't like the idea of welding on my '05 either, but i can't afford another frame, so that's why i started this thread. thanks for the input.
