If you mean frozen as in ICE, then spray some De-Icer on it, that will melt the ice. Otherwise, if their just stuck, I have no idea....:(

Try taking your caliper off, that may un-freeze it...

Yup, i'd take it apart and see if you can figure anything out.

Possibly its the cable, but could be a siezed caliper.

its probally just your break peddle. just take off your break peddle and get all of the rust out of the peddle joint. use some anti-sieze or wd-40 on it and reinstall it. its a common problem.

yeah mine locked up too. just remove the brake peddle

there is a cotter pin behind the pivot point. pull that and take the washer off thats behind the pin and then dissconnect the brake peddle from the brake piston via cotter pin. then work the brake peddle up and down to get it out. may need to beat on it with a hammer.

ps. most things can be solved with a hammer. those that cant. need a bigger hammer.

hello mine did that about a month after i got it and then again the end of last year. if you ride in wet or muddy conditions ,as i do,it will rust again. my pedal locked up so tight this last time i actually broke the weak tubing off in the frame. well i had to use a piece of cold roll( round steel) to drive the tubing out. so i ground the weld off the outside of the pedal and got a 9/16" bolt and cut to fit. i drilled a hole on the inside for my cotter pin and used the stock washer. its a little smaller than the stock tubing and works great. total cost $.36. hope this helped.

oh yeah. i had to weld the bolt to the pedal. if you dont know how to weld or dont know a welder, and you have boobs, you can get it done for free.

I checked my brake pedal pivot last night on my 1999 400ex and it was in need of grease in a bad way. I wire brushed the pedal and cleaned out the bushing that it rides in. Put some Bel-ray water proof grease on and reassembled. My rear brakes work better than ever. Thanks for the heads up.
