Hey if youve seen pictures of tim farrs 450r were you would put the tranmission oil there that little red cap wat exactly is that?

it's an aftermarket billet aluminum filler cap.

ok so can is it liek a quick fill you dont have to unscreww it just like open like the quick fill gas caps

it is just an aluminum oil cap, exactly like the black plastic one that it comes with. works the same way.

I have them on my bike, and I can tell you they work better than the stock caps. When I first got my 450, every time I changed the oil I'd find dirt inside the cap an on the threads. I asked Mark Baldwin about it and he showed them to me on Farr's quad. Haven't had anymore dirt since then. An on top of that, they look cool too!!!

since this thread is going, i was wondering whats up with the twin vortex CDI's units on the bars, so far ive only seen it on his quad for TT not the MX one, not sure how it works, my guess is its the saem CDI but with 2 sitches so he can choose from 4 power curves instead of 2

Hey with the vortex ignition why would u want to change power curves like for a mx track?

i had the same look at it as you did before i rode my friends 450r with a full tc motor and with the interchangeable power curves.....

the 2 settings are for long wide open tracks and tight shorts courses

THAT WHAT i thought i used to think he you would switch in like during the moto but the vortex with yokomod wonder if its better than like the dynatech?

One is the ignition , the other is used to cut the fan on manually.
