I have the Elkas from my 05, but Laz @ GT Thunder is revalving and servicing them for the 06.

spincer, what brand skids, bumper r u runnin and are they 05. do they fit 06. i tried placing a 04 skid up to my 06 and it didn't look like it would fit.
rear grab bar fit also?

I dont know what brand he has but, the '05plates will not work on the '06 .Unless you modify them. The belly plate will have the hole for the drain plug on the wrong side, easy enough mod if you dont mind an extra hole in your skidplate. The swingarm skid will bolt up but you will have to use some spacers to get clearance at the dogbone.
I just talked to a very reliable source, who told me PRM is just now working on plates for the '06 . GREG

I have all Pro Armor skids and bumper. Everything fit fine, but like md said, the engine skid holes have to be redrilled for the drain plug. Good thing about the Pro Armor swingarm skid, it has plenty of room for an aftermarket link, time will tell if it holds up as well as a PRM though. Nobody has a grab bar that will work yet, since Honda decided to put a mounting location for the exhaust on it.:rolleyes:

Bought some DGs (they sent me the ones for the 04 450r) and they do not fit to the front motor mount.

So I was curious if everyone with an 06 was just SOL for another couple months or so.....

I just removed my neutral and temp light, dont need them. As far as the key...heh, just got it tucked away with zip ties for now :rolleyes:
