400ex engine problem

I have had my engine bored to a 416 and i am running a hot cam, new timing chain and have rejeted my carb when we put a pipe on, running a hmf pipe but the rings are sticking to my piston and loosing all compression, my engine is running really hot, we have changed clutch cables like crazy b/c the eng. is running to hot. are we having a jet and air problem or what? I have lossed three top ends b/c of this. I need input!

sounds like the rings arent properly gapped to me.

what are u running for jets? make sure your timing is good and valve lash isnt to tight. check header crush gaskets for leaks...

your rings are sticking to your piston? im not understanding what you mean, can you get a little more in depth??
