Will 05 400ex plastic fit on a 01 ex?

there was, at one point, someone on ebay that sold the mounting hardware to make it work...not sure if they still do

heres my wifes 03 i put 05 plastic on with automotive driving lights. very easy and i relocated the key switch where the reverse switch is on the 05 plastic. very easy install just like stock except i had to bend front fender mounts about a half of an inch, but very simple. and the stock 05 headlight is close to 300.00 for the whole assembly.

Where did you purchase your 05 plastic? I have yet to find a dealer that does, Local or online. I too am looking to update.

i bought mine at plaza cycle in west valley , utah. i got it about a month before the 05 400ex was out. but i would check maier they now make the it in the 05 style, check this link but buy through rocky mountain atv there the cheapest i have found i did my whole yfz for under 300.00

many dealers should have it. where i work isnt even a dealer and we can still get 05 factory honda plastic. try www.servicehonda.com, they should have it for about the best price.
