i personally think the 90 cc rules ard bs i rode a 90 and i broke the reer axle and i didnt have any fun it was my cousins ride hes in the third grade im in highschool and i can ride my atv better than most adults around here exeption of a bunch of the older racers my friend hess also my age and we ride 400exs and we feel we are being skrewed by our state and government so i would like it if you shared youre opinion.

well my daughter has been riding a suzuki 50 since she 4. she handles it really good and now she is 6 i have had her on a 90 eton that was throttled down, again she did fine. as she gets better, i will open it up more. by the time she is 10 or 12, i hope she will have got the hang of a 90cc quad so if she is mature enough and has the skill level, i will move her again up in size.

it boils down to parents and children having common sense. as far as the law, well its there for a reason. safety is #1 when it comes to racing.

I think that you live one time and a person should be able to ride whatever they like.

NEVER listen to the age stickers. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and got a blaster when I was 11. It said no one under 16, but just peeled it off. The blaster needs a no one under 10 on it. I got a 300ex when I was 14 and handeled it perfect when it said no one under 16. Just turned 16 and got a 400ex and handeled it fine. age limits need to be banned.

I am 11 and a half and I race a 90cc mini and Im tall so its hard sometimes ! I have been racing since I was 7 yearsold, my parents say Im still too small to race a bigger quad, maybe a blaster would be ok. But I think the rule is not cool for every rider thats for sure .:(

You can say all that you want, but just wait till the next ruling comes down from the CPSC and non of us might be riding because of the under 16 riders riding larger quads. Go and read there press release dated Oct 6, 2005.

i think its pretty stupid, like what are the people from age 12-15 supposed to be racing then? Im not a very big guy and i used to have a LT80 and by the time i was like 11 or 12 i had outgrown the thing, I could barely ride it and it was just boring, Its a good rule to have but 16 is just way too old for it

The way i see it i have been riding a 400ex since i was 12 years old. i was tought right. ive been riding since i was six. minibikes, lt80, blaster,400ex. If a 14 year old kid can go out and race a ama sanctioned event on a 450r dirtbike why cant quads. I can see why the rule is there though cause of three wheelers messed it up for quads there totally differnet machines. but i dont see why if your parents qright the release why its a problem. and i cant see why you cant just take an atv safety coarse and flet them see that when you sign up or somthing like that.

Does this stuff affect the sale of dirtbikes too? What about just normal bicycles. Lots of kids get hit by cars, or injured from riding their bicycle.

I dont care about the rule that you have to be 16 to buy one, I dont know many people under 16 with the financial ability to buy a new quad without some help from their parents. But if they start trying to inforce the not for anyone under 16 rule, I wont be so happy. That would be very hard for them to do though.
