View Full Version : Does 250r rear shock work on 400ex???

Hello riders,i am in the process of borrowing a firends PEP ZPS for the weekend and i was wondering does the Rear 250R shock work on a 400ex..If so how,and what do i need to do??Ok please let me know..

no it doesnt work.
i have heard people here say they have done it but........the top shock mount is differnt on both bikes but they can be switched to make it fit, the shock legths are differnt and both bikes are diffent weights so the shocks are vavled differnt.remember just because you can bolt something on and it phisically fits doenst mean it works.
i wouldnt do it.

yea like i said, i think someone on this site has tried it and said it worked for him but its not the right set up especially if your going to be serious about riding mx and jumping.

upper and lower shock mounts don't work the lower is to narrow and so is the top. and it's to long. I found out the hardway. I have a rear zps tcs shock forsale now. 250r type.

Forum, how much do you want for that shock?
what is it set up for etc.
