i still need something to tote the toys around with just to and from the track.

what kinda 2wd pickup can i get really cheap, i want bare bones full sized bed, so i can stick my 50" wide bike in.

you could actually find a pretty nice v6 f 150 for 1500. I would look for an f150 or an early 90s cheyenne 2500 because those things last for ever and are dirt cheap!

My ex's dad got a early 90's 4 wheel drive straight 6, f-150 for 500 dollars, and all it needed was a new gasket or something, and the a 40 dollar mount for the leading arm, after he pulled my truck out of the snow:rolleyes:

Also look into older toyotas, if the bed is too small, just hack it off and make a wooden bad, I'm shure your quad would fit on that.

I could locate you a good used truck here in michigan. You'd have to come get it though. You missed out on an1989 f150 with a new motor and trans in it. It had only 40,000 miles on both. Airconditioning, power windows, heavy duty hitch, 2 camper tops, and a hard locking tanuel cover. It had a 302 in it, 5 speed manual with over sized tires on it. The problem was is that it was rusting out, and we didn't use it anymore. It only got 15mpg too, but would pull and haul anything you needed. I sold it for 700 bucks, and the guy that's still driving it is really happy with it. I know I could find another tuck like this for around that price range.
