Last year Flordia had three hurricanes in three months or so, then she through out tusanim(sp), Japan had a earthquake, then she gave us drought and then hail storms in Kansas to destroy great chunks of the wheat crops and a few tornados, Then she blessed us with Katrina, and Rita, still no rain in kansas just wind, and now I heard she rocked out anthor major earthquake. Good God somebody do something to make the biatch happy.

So far , there are 20 000 people dead cuz of yesturday's earthquake overseas . Different agencies have pegged it to be anywhere between a 7.6 to 7.8 magnitude on the richter scale . It was also a shallow quake , so it shook the chit out of everything .

It hit Pakistan , Afghanistan and parts of Asia from what i gathered .

We had a small quake a few weeks ago up in my area ... nothing big ... only a 3.5 or soemthing like that . Was big enough to shake our apartment building for a few seconds though .

Wasn't anything too intense .... nothing fell off the walls . LOL . We're used to it up here though . This city is a mining town , so INCO ( mining giant) has drifts and stuff all under the city . Alot of the time there's rock bursts which shake for a few seconds , or when they blast also . The local science center recorded it on their richter scale , called the company to confirm it wasn't a rock burst or a blast , then announced to the public that it was indeed a quake .

lol, some of us are really easy to please you know. We can be pretty easy goin', all you have to do is give us a chance and you might be pleasantly surprised ;)

I agree that the weather has been horrible with all the ups and downs these past few years though. Global warming bites! And we can only expect it to get worse :ermm: :grr:

What have you not been to western kansas no you live close to Mizzu, do you even know a farmer, we got a late frost on the wheat, then it didn't rain when we needed then it did rain when we didn't need, and right before harvest we had hail storms that did just enough damage not to toatal out the crops so we could at least get crop insurance, I know several farmers who lost there *****, my father included so DONT WTF ME SON, and all the lakes out here are below conservation levels. What does that mean, NO F'in RAIN, cattle ponds DRY, the creek the flows through Hays DRY, the rivers North and South of Hays JUST A TRICKLE what does that mean NO DAMN RAIN. My good friend that runs the family farm their WELL WET DRY NEARLY A YEAR AGO whats that mean DROUGHT STUPID

Last time Iowa saw a decent rain fall was spring....maybe rained a handful of times and when it did, it was for maybe 10 minutes.

Even now, no rain! It is great for riding but, horrible on my lawn.
