umm has ne one ever broke the threads of a valve cover off in the engine? and if you have how much did it cost you

no but i did strip the head bolts out of the head and it cost $90.00 for 3.

well i got mine out with pliers so its free

I snaped one bolt off in the top of the head that holds the valve cover on. I used a punch and got it out, took me a good 1/2 hour. then I took a metric bolt and welded it to the end of the rod that the origonal threads snaped off of. if that makes any scence... but thats what I did, worked mint.
