what kind of price did you pay OTD? I am wondering if there are any better quotes than what I got in PA.

Yep picked mine up this morning......very smooth power.....its gonna be hard for me to get used to coming from my 250R

I thought the same thing. After I started to ride the 450R like a 4 stroke and not a 2 stroke, I fell in love with the smooth power. In a month or 2 you will be ready to throw thr 250R in the trash.

they are located in berkeley springs west virginia...go to the site and get the number and call because they dont update their site too often... but i got my 05 their about 2 months ago for $5799 OTD.

i paid 6,900 otd but the place is like 20 mins away, i called around and all the dearlers around here were telling me they arent given any deals there chargen msrp plus tax and everything else cause there arent many 06's around here so they have to get top dollar

Tomarrows the day i go to pick up my 06 i cant wait i will let ya's no how much of a rocket ship it is and how it compare's to my old mighty cannonbomb

I will say I was disappointed.....I was hoping for a real animal.....My 250R is a arm yanking out of the sockets power and this thing just doesn't have that......I hope it gets better after it get broke in......and I believe mine might have a problem....since it was started at the dealership....it sounds like a rod knocking....is this right...I haven't heard another 450R run......please help me out.....is anyone else hearing this.....if not mine will be back to the dealer by the weekend to say fix it.....

It's fine...they all do it...just a little louder than the 05 since the 06 has higher compression...I bet it rips harder than your 250R did when it was new and stock...

I called Ridersville today and there 6400 OTD. I'll be picking one up within the next week or so.

Hay I live near you and I have a 2004. at first I was real disappointed with mine, wate till the rings seat!!

they do make a lot of kocking and pinking sounds!
if you want me to look at it I work in Oil city and live in cranberry

06 TRX450's have alot more engine noise than the 04/05's. Don't tear it down yet;)
