Hey guys, Im looking to get a new slip on. I want a pipe that has a deep groan sound like a harley or something and that gives some good power all around. I was looking at the e-series, but i dont know what it sounds like. So.... what does the e-series sound like and is this a good quality and durable pipe with good power gain?

Thanx guys

If i were you i would get the yoshimura or the pro circuit t-4. They give good gains and sound very deep. I use an e-series and i like my buddies t-4 a lot better

i've looked at the fmf titanium 4, yoshimura, and the pro circuit t-4, and they all seem to be great pipes, but i have no idea how they sound, but with a 400cc four-stroke engine and an aftermarket exhaust, they will all sound throaty

i got a t-4 and a LRD system. i like the t-4 alot but the lrd is definitly more throaty and gives a little more power gain but you have to buy the whole system. i would go with the t-4 if i were you, they are a great pipe.

The E-Series has an awsome sound to it, not to loud, but not to quiet, the power gains it brings over stock it tremendous. I would go E-Series it is also the 2nd best performance pipe they make.

Of the E-series and the t-4, which gives more power gain?
Also, i plan on getting a new header sometime in the future but dont know which one. For now i will probably just grind the welds on my stiock. I was looking at the powerbomb or the WB.

Thanks

what I remember from the mag tests the WB E made more power. I think that it has been within the top 1-4 silencer in every test I have seen. I know that some of these tests are a little biased but it seems to be a good pipe.

The t4 just seems louder, thats it just louder. Not that the E is not loud but the T4 is just a little annoying.

So do you want to be faster or just sound faster?

i went with the t-4 cause all my buddies have wb, either e-series or r-4. at 4000rpm the t has 15.9 hp and the e has 14.7 at peak hp the t has 27.4 and the e has 27.9. the sound level of the t is 95 db and the e is 95db. the t is 3.6 lbs and the e is 5.1lbs. plus the price, i dont know what the e goes for, but i paid $162 for my t-4 (slip on)and its tunable.i dont know if the e-series is tunable or not. and a buddy of mine got a sparks full exhaust and the head pipes are the same size diameter as my stock head pipes.i hope i helped. if you have any questions feel free to get ahold of me. i have the mag right here with rest of em.

yoshimura: 4000rpm:15.5. peak rpm:27.6. sound level:95db. weight:4.8lbs.

get a dirtwheels and go through the mag. theres some that are cheaper than others. but dont go through the manufacturer. let me know which one you get. also i have the dynos of the other 7 pipes tested.

Whats the difference between the S-bend and the pro-meg? The pro-meg looks like it has a bigger pipe connecting the silencer to the head pipe. do they both have the same silencer?
If for now I just buy the silencer, can i buy the same head pipe later and get the same results?

Sorry for all the questions,
Thanks

Would I get good results if i got the s-bend and grind the welds on the stock headers?

Thanks

The E-Series with cleaned up header welds will perform well. If you want a full WB system, buy it now, a S-Bend silencer will not fit a Pro-Meg headpipe.

All decent aftermarket pipes give similar performance, you'll most likely be happy with your purchase whether it's a WB, Yoshi, T-4, etc.
