Well I am buying something this weekend but still haven't made up my mind if it's going to be the new TRX450R OR the YFZ450...............................**** I NEED HELP.......There both nice...

Wait a couple weeks, and ride a couple. Se which one fits you better.

Get a feel for the ergonomics. They differ quite a bit.

Also, do you like a 2-stroke feel or a 4-stroke feel more?

The yzf has more of a 2-stroke feel to it. More peaky HP, w/ lower bottom end torque.

The trx has more of a 4-stroke feel with a more even power curve and more torque on the bottom.

Do you like to shift early (trx), or shift late (yzf).

These will all help you decide. Don't rely on other peoples preferences. We all have different riding styles.

I just got done riding the 06 450r and I really like it. It needs to be uncorked a little but all in all its a great bike. One thing that is way better that I can tell right away is the gearing!!

O yea and the E-start was nice to lol.:p Starts right up with no problems at all.

I just traded in my 2004 TRX450R for the 2006Trx450ER. I have rode it twice so far. It really feels like a totally different bike. I feel it has more midrange hit. Cant wait to uncork it and hit the trails!!!!!
