Im going to be buying a ASV Clutch lever and I am wondering if I need to get the one with hotstart.

Also what is hotstart?

The hotstart lever can be used for the reverse mechanism but it isn't needed. Hotstart is usually for kickstart machines. I'm not positive what it does but it helps with starting the quad when the engine is hot.

i did not know that you could use it for reverse. So explain to me how this works. Instead of using the old red button on the stock all you do is push the hot start button and then pull the clutch and then the lever?

is it aluminum or machined... i think that is the only difference between the C/5 and the f-3, and these levers do reduce the pull right? No where on there site does it say it but i am assuming it is because they are like the #1 aftermarket lever company?
